Professional Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractor in Surrey, BC is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have good knowledge of roofing materials and applications
- Minimum 2 years experience in roofing estimating required
- Extensive knowledge in the construction industry required
- Experienced in blue print reading and takeoffs
- Knowledge of Bluebeam software is an asset but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in job costing, job tracking and job purchasing
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and well organized
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- Attend site meetings
- Prepare estimates for labour, material and equipment costs using quantity take-off procedures
- Prepare estimates and bid submissions
- Negotiate contracts with clients
- Coordinate and consult with engineers, architects, contractors etc.
- Organize and prepare project start-ups
