Award winning and Michelin recommended PiDGiN is hiring a Chef de Partie for our kitchen at Time Out Market Vancouver.
You'll run a section of a high-volume market kitchen under Chef Wesley Young, with real responsibility for quality, consistency, and the cooks around you. Our kiosk opened in May and is outperforming projections — this is a chance to join a winning opening team early, in a salaried role with leadership runway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own your station: prep, execution, quality, and pace
- Hold PiDGiN standards at market volume
- Train and support line cooks on your section
- Assist with ordering, inventory, and food cost on your station
- Step up as shift lead when the Chef or Senior CDP is off
- Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols
Requirements:
- 3+ years as Chef de Partie or strong senior line cook
- High-volume experience strongly preferred
- Strong fundamentals and a calm head under sustained pressure
- Pan Asian background an asset
- FOODSAFE Level 1 required
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
