Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 3 Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting fluid various locations and operating vac trucks and other equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the safety of our cargo.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including vac trucks body jobs and dump trucks.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload fluid and material
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the security of the cargo
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts/skidsteers/tractors is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus
- Strong understanding of freight transportation regulations and procedures
