We are looking for a skilled and motivated B-Pressure Welder / CWB Certified Journeyman Welder to join our growing team in a full-time, shop-based position. - Fabricate metal components, structural assemblies, skids, and B-Pressure wellhead pipe spools according to drawings, specifications, and approved welding procedures.
- Perform high-quality welding using GMAW (MIG) and SMAW (Stick) processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Prepare, fit, and assemble materials prior to welding.
- Operate plasma cutting and oxy-fuel cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use grinders, drills, saws, and other fabrication tools as required.
- Safely rig, lift, and move materials within the shop.
- Inspect completed work using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, welding procedures, and industry standards.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid CWB Welding Certification
- Strong experience with GMAW and SMAW welding processes
- Proven fabrication and blueprint-reading skills
- Experience with plasma cutting and oxy-fuel cutting equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable
Preferred Assets
- Valid B-Pressure Welding Certification
- MIG root experience
- Forklift operating experience
- Overhead crane experience
