Job Description
We are looking for an individual who is well established in the telecommunications "wireline" sector, able to think on their feet, and has extensive knowledge in the coaxial system. This person MUST be a skilled RF technician with proven experience as an RF Technician. Preference given to candidate with ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS experience.
Candidate Requirements
Must have through knowledge with:
- Building Equipment (Nodes, Trunks, Line Extenders, Taps, Splitters/Passive Equipment)
- Setting up equipment (Nodes, Trunks, Line Extenders)
- Ability to sweep and document findings
- Trouble shooting
- Read and understand system maps
Must
- Have a valid G License with clean drivers abstract
- Have a clean criminal background check
- Have 2+ years of experience working as an RF Technician
- Proven leadership abilities and relevant experience
- Be able to work as a team and as an individual
- Be punctual
- Be safety conscious
- Have a positive work attitude
- Be able to work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm with the potential to work night shifts for Node cutovers
- Be able to lift 50lbs and work physically throughout the day
- Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
- Possess communication and listening skills
