Job Summary
Growing pool business seeking a reliable Pool Technician to join our team. No experience necessary, will train. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of pool systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks. The Pool Technician will also assist with landscape maintenance and related construction projects as needed, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of outdoor aquatic environments.
Duties
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems
- Perform routine cleaning and chemical balancing to ensure water quality standards are met
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to pool installations or upgrades
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and repairs performed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in pool maintenance or related fields such as landscaping, horticulture, or construction is preferred
- Experience working with construction materials or in construction environments will be considered an asset
