Location: Mississauga

Shifts: 12-hour Continental shift (7 to 7), rotating every 2 weeks (days/nights).

Automation & Mechatronics Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated and electro-mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports high-uptime production and material-handling environments and works closely with engineering, operations, and external vendors.

What will you do?

Diploma or certificate in Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field
3+ years of experience in an automation or industrial manufacturing environment
Hands‑on experience with Siemens PLCs, RTDs, sensors, and VFDs
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Willingness to learn, with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with solid basic mechanical skills
Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and planning skills
Basic computer and math skills, with the ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
Ability to work with solvents and in environments with extreme heat, humidity, and high noise levels, while wearing required PPE
Physically able to lift 35–40 lbs regularly, stand for extended periods, and work 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts (days, afternoons, or nights) as business requires

Ability to clearly distinguish between colours and shades of colour and lead or train others as required.
