About the Role
Torofab CNC Metal Works is looking for a reliable and skilled Press Brake Operator / CNC Laser Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role in a busy steel fabrication shop. The work is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, speed, and consistency.
We work with a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, producing custom parts for a wide range of clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting machine and/or press brake machine safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
- Set up machines, select proper tooling, and adjust settings as required
- Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Handle, move, and organize steel materials safely
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC laser machines and/or press brake machines
- Strong understanding of how these machines operate (training will also be provided)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials regularly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Must have reliable transportation (own vehicle required)
- Forklift operation experience or certification is a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and improve skills continuously

Important Note
This is not an easy or light-duty job. It requires physical strength, focus, and the ability to keep up with production demands in a busy shop environment.
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
