We are seeking a skilled Arborist to join our team, dedicated to the care and maintenance of trees and landscapes. Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain healthy growth and aesthetics.
- Assess tree health and diagnose issues related to pests, diseases, or environmental factors.
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely for high-altitude work.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting and caring for shrubs and gardens.
- Utilize GIS technology for mapping and managing tree inventory.
- Rigging techniques for safe removal of branches or trees as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Arborist or in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe bucket operation.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate a bucket truck safely in various conditions.
- Understanding of GIS technology for effective tree management.
- Strong physical fitness to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
