KFHC is searching for a full-time skilled general maintenance repair person to provide general maintenance and repairs including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating, drywall, and flooring. This position receives a Corporate assigned vehicle and tools. Starting salary is $30.83 an hour for a 35- hour work week Monday to Friday with call-out opportunities on the weekend and an extensive employee benefits package. The position is a bargaining unit position that falls under CUPE Local 109.
Qualifications:
· Minimum two years’ experience in commercial and/or residential property management.
· Certification in a trade is an asset.
· Proven ability in maintenance repairs and proficiency in the use of tools and equipment.
· Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
· Proven ability to meet deadlines and adherence to building codes, safety standards, and all relevant legislation.
· Ability to communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and the public.
· Must obtain and maintain a satisfactory CPIC and driving abstract.
