We are seeking a driven and empathetic Sales & Financing Consultant to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, you will guide clients through the entire ownership journey—from selecting the perfect vehicle to securing the best financing approval. You won’t just be a salesperson; you will be a consultant who helps clients understand their credit, budget, and long-term automotive needs.
What You Will Do:
- Consultative Sales: Conduct thorough needs analyses to match customers with vehicles from our inventory of 100+ units (and access to 3,000+ via our network) that fit their lifestyle and budget.
- Financing Expertise: Work directly with customers to complete credit applications, structure deals, and explain financing options (Prime and Sub-Prime) with transparency.
- Lead Management: Respond to internet leads and phone inquiries promptly, leveraging our CRM to nurture relationships and set appointments.
- Total Customer Care: manage the "meet and greet," test drives, trade-in appraisals, and the final delivery of the vehicle, ensuring a 5-star experience.
- Credit Education: Act as a trusted advisor for clients with challenging credit, helping them understand how an auto loan can be a tool for credit rebuilding.
- Compliance: strictly adhere to OMVIC regulations and federal privacy laws during all transactions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous automotive sales or financial services experience is preferred, specifically with sub-prime or non-prime markets.
- Licensing: Valid OMVIC certification is required (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Driver’s License: Valid G Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, digital contracting tools, and social media for prospecting.
- Mindset: A high-integrity individual who values transparency and "no-pressure" tactics, aligning with our dealership's core reputation.
