Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is ideal for a passionate designer looking to grow their career while contributing to a respected Canadian brand. You will support the creation of engaging visual content that strengthens our brand identity across digital and print platforms while helping communicate our expertise, services, and company values.
Key Responsibilities
- Design digital and print marketing materials including brochures, flyers, presentations, social media graphics, advertisements, email banners, and signage.
- Create branded visuals for website updates, landing pages, blogs, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts that align with company objectives.
- Maintain consistency with ARS Responds Canada's visual identity and brand guidelines.
- Prepare artwork for production and coordinate with external print vendors when required.
- Assist with photo editing, image selection, and basic video graphics.
- Support internal communications by designing presentations, reports, and employee engagement materials.
- Organize and maintain digital design assets and project files.
- Stay informed on current design trends and recommend creative improvements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of graphic design experience (internships and freelance work considered).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Canva, or similar design tools is an asset.
- Basic understanding of web design principles and social media content creation.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for corporate, construction, engineering, or service-based industries.
- Basic photography, videography, or motion graphics skills.
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.

Pay: $49,000.00-$70,600.65 per year
