Position Summary
The Human Resources & Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR and administrative functions to support daily operations and company growth. This role manages recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, payroll coordination, benefits administration, training, and general office administration while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, people-oriented, and capable of handling confidential matters with discretion in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, attendance, vacation, and payroll-related information.
- Prepare and coordinate payroll data including employee hours, vacation, benefits, and payroll changes with payroll providers/internal accounting teams.
- Support employee relations, performance reviews, compensation updates, and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment standards, and workplace health & safety requirements.
- Prepare employment letters, HR reports, and other administrative documentation.
- Oversee daily office administration and ensure smooth office operations.
- Coordinate office supplies, vendors, meetings, travel arrangements, and company activities.
- Support communication and coordination between departments and management.
- Maintain administrative records, procedures, and confidentiality of company information.
- Assist management with operational, organizational, and administrative projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration.
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or technical environments is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario/Canada employment standards and HR best practices.
- Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
Compensation:
- From 80k/year. This starting rate is for the guide line and can be adjusted based on work related criteria.
