About the Position
As the Service Writer, you'll be the primary point of contact between our customers and technicians. You'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring repairs are communicated clearly and completed efficiently.
This role requires excellent communication, organization, and the ability to multitask in a busy automotive repair environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments
- Prepare repair orders and estimates
- Clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Coordinate workflow with technicians
- Follow up with customers after repairs
- Process invoices and payments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Help deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in an automotive customer service role
- Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance
- Experience with shop management software (an asset)
