Hungry Zus is seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations
- Handle food safely according to health regulations and standards
- Refill drinks, clear tables, and assist with setting up for events or special occasions
- Engage with customers to ensure a positive dining experience
- Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and specialty drinks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to serve multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with food preparation or barista skills is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if necessary
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
