About SudDrop
SudDrop is a modern laundry pickup and delivery service designed to save customers time through convenient, reliable, and professional service. We handle laundry from pickup to delivery so our customers can focus on what matters most.
Founded in Halifax, SudDrop has processed over 2,500 orders and is now expanding into the Greater Toronto Area. You would be joining at the ground floor of our Toronto launch — this is not a role with a full schedule from day one, but one that grows as we grow. If you're looking for something to build alongside a company that's scaling fast, this is that opportunity.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable, friendly driver to handle residential and commercial laundry pickup and delivery routes across the GTA, operating out of our Brampton processing facility.
As one of our first Toronto drivers, you will play a direct role in shaping how SudDrop operates in this market. Orders will build over time as our customer base grows, which means your hours will increase as the business does. This role is ideal for someone who has flexibility in their schedule now and wants to grow into consistent, stable hours with a company that is actively expanding.
You will be the face of SudDrop in Toronto. Most customers only interact with their driver, so professionalism, reliability, and communication are critical.
Schedule
- Afternoon and evening shifts
- Shifts will be part-time and variable at launch, increasing as order volume grows
- Routes are assigned the morning of your shift
- Ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who wants to scale their hours over time
Pay and Compensation
- $20 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.65 per kilometer
- Paid trial shift
- Keep 100% of tips
- Hours will grow directly with order volume — early drivers are first in line for a full schedule
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver customer laundry within assigned time windows across the GTA
- Follow delivery and building access instructions carefully
- Communicate clearly if issues arise during a route
- Handle customer items with care and professionalism
- Represent SudDrop positively at every interaction
- Use SudDrop's driver app to manage and complete routes
Route Driver Expectations
We operate with high standards. The following expectations are essential to succeed in this role:
Attention to Detail
- Ensure orders are never mixed
- Verify customer names and instructions at every stop
- Notice unusual situations before they become problems
- Immediately notify the Operations Manager if something goes wrong
- Never attempt to cover up mistakes — we have systems in place to fix issues quickly when communicated properly
Following Protocol
- Follow all documented Standard Operating Procedures
- Complete required confirmations and route steps accurately
- Failure to follow protocol may result in warnings and performance review
Hustle
- Quality and accuracy come first
- Drivers are expected to work efficiently and complete routes within the scheduled time frame
Attendance
- Showing up for assigned shifts is critical
- If you cannot work a scheduled shift, you are responsible for arranging coverage and notifying management at least one week in advance whenever possible
Communication
- Keep communication clear and timely
- Relay all relevant route updates to the Operations Manager
- Proactive communication is required, not optional
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable 4-door vehicle
- Smartphone with data access
- Comfortable driving in the GTA, including Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, and Vaughan
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lb laundry bags
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Customer service mindset with a friendly personality
