About the Position
As an Automotive Service Technician, you will perform inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of domestic and import vehicles, including cars, light trucks, and some medium-duty vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns
- Perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance services
- Repair engines, steering, suspension, braking, drivetrain, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information
- Conduct road tests and verify repairs
- Complete inspections and accurately document findings
- Communicate repair recommendations through service advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with technicians, advisors, and management to provide outstanding customer service
Qualifications
- Licensed Automotive Service Technician or 3rd-Year Apprentice
- Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using computerized diagnostic systems
- Ability to read and interpret service information and wiring diagrams
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid Driver's License
