Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator & Technologist to support the successful delivery of design and construction projects through Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and technical design expertise.
This role bridges the gap between BIM coordination and architectural technology, combining technical modeling, project coordination, and design support. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining BIM standards, coordinating project models, supporting project teams, and contributing to the production of high-quality design documentation.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve project delivery and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models throughout project lifecycles.
- Produce accurate drawings, plans, technical documentation, and presentation materials in support of project requirements.
- Ensure project models comply with BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans.
- Coordinate model integration and collaboration across internal disciplines and external project stakeholders.
- Monitor model quality, performance, and data integrity, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Create and manage Revit families, templates, and project standards.
- Support project teams with BIM-related troubleshooting, workflows, and best practices.
- Assist with model audits, data validation, exports, imports, and model management activities.
- Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of BIM processes and design technology tools.
- Contribute to space planning, test fits, and design development activities as required.
- Stay informed on emerging BIM technologies, software advancements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM modeling, architectural technology, or design coordination within a professional design, architecture, engineering, or construction environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including model management and family creation.
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, project coordination, and model-based collaboration.
- Experience producing construction documents and technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 environments.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of applicable building codes, construction practices, materials, and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM projects.
- Knowledge of clash detection and model review processes.
- Experience administering ACC/BIM 360 environments, including project setup and user management.
- Familiarity with BIM automation tools, scripting, or workflow optimization technologies.
- Professional certifications such as LEED, ARIDO, NCIDQ, or related industry credentials.
- Experience supporting workplace, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
