Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your bookkeeping and accounting expertise in a team-oriented, high growth environment? Do you have a passion for numbers, with excellent attention to detail and yet the ability to “see the bigger financial picture”? Business By Numbers Ltd. is seeking experienced Bookkeepers.

Those that are resourceful, hardworking, able to receive regular feedback, people-oriented and with a commitment to excellence are best suited to this position. The ability to understand “Ops flow” and accounting systems will definitely be an asset and provide additional growth opportunities.s.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of full cycle bookkeeping / accounting experience;
Obsessive attention to detail is required;
Strong at completions + ability to meet/exceed deadlines consistently; and
2-year diploma in a related accounting field is an asset.

Requirements:

Excellent oral and written English is essential.
High level of communication skills and ability to interact positively with clients, team members and government agencies is required.
Position entails data entry, banking, reconciliations, A/P, A/R, Payroll, GST Filing, and preparing adjusting entries.
Critical thinking, and consistent, high level attention to detail is essential to be successful in this position.
The successful candidate must be a strategic thinker, be skilled in QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online, Microsoft and Google, and be comfortable with learning and implementing new apps and technology. They MUST have a “whatever it takes, I'll do it” attitude.

Position Specifics:

Permanent full-time position, however part-time options would be considered.
40 hours per week.
Location of work: a combination of travel to local clients’ offices &/or remote work location as well as working at our corporate head office at 11630 Kingsway Ave NW.
Salary negotiable based on level of skill, experience and education.
