Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, the Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that earthworks and infrastructure projects remain on budget, on schedule and build exactly to design specifications. The Project Coordinator will foster a health and safety culture of Zero Harm while ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations. This position works a 2 week on and 2 week off schedule at a remote mine site.
Key Job Functions
- Track and process permits and drawings.
- Ensure the Construction Superintendent and field crews always have the latest revised blueprints.
- Help to identify, mitigate and resolve any risks, scope changes or conflicts that arise during construction
- Collect, review, veryify and track daily submitted timesheets(LEM’s) submitted by site contractors.
- Verify logged hours, equipment usage and materials match actual site progress and pre-approved rates.
- Accurately assign and review cost codes for purchas orders, invoices, and expense reports to ensure expenditures align with project budget.
- Assist in sourcing materials and supplies.
- Review subcontractor progess claims and invoices, verifying that billed work matches contract terms.
- Verify/track quantities for progress reporting.
- Prepare productivity and progress reports for senior management.
- Review and interpret technician drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation on the job site. Coordinate with design engineers to resolve technician issues.
- Perform financial analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and cash flow projections to support project justification and prioritization.
- Collaborate with construction and functional teams to align projects with site strategic objectives.
- Track and support execution of projects by working closely with construction, operations, maintenance, and technical teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while meeting safety and environmental standards.
- Apply project management tools and techniques (e.g., Gantt charts, risk matrices, stakeholder mapping) to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across departments.
- Liaison with deliveries for the project.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with BC mining regulations, environmental standards, and company safety policies.

Qualifications Required
Required
· Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management or equivalent.
· Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Excel).
Skills and Abilities
· Strong understanding of mining regulations and health and safety standards in British Columbia.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
· Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate technical and economic data.
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
· Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement.
· Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to site-based work schedules.
Pay: $95,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
