With our business rapidly growing, we are seeking 2 skilled and dedicated Millwright/Field Service Technician to join our team and grow with us.

What your role will be:
Provide an on-site presence to engage customers, install, align, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul and repairs, of major components such as gears, pumps, motor or hydrolics assemblies. Support the local team at the shop when not visiting clients.
What your responsibilities will be:
- Perform offsite inspections, analysis, alignmen and repairs.
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Inspect machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Fitting and adjusting in order to meet tight operating requirements
- Installation of major component such as girth gear, gearboxes for mining, pulp and paper and other industries.
- Work on precision assemblies and sub-assembly.
- Cleaning, assembling and lubrication of gear units and parts.
- Coordinate stock (bolts, seals, shims...)
- Bring forward quality issues to management.
- Redaction of detailed reports
- Generate quotations
- Maintain and complete inspection reports.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
The knowledge and skills you must have:
- 7- years experience in gearboxes repair or machine fitter
- Certificate in Industrial Mechanic Millwright and/or Mechanical Fitter
- Valid Driver’s licence and passport
- Vibration analyst certification, level 2 or more
- Basic survival training (BST) is a plus
- Offshore Training is a plus
- Equipment experience with overhead crane
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints
- Customer service experience with excellent communication skills in English
- Strong knowledge of precision fitting/assembly repair work
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Good manual dexterity, resourcefulness and good ability to concentrate
- Record time spent on each job
- Record/maintain quality form per ISO procedure in place
