KDR Homes is a luxury custom home builder, based in Winnipeg Manitoba. We are looking for a fun and outgoing Interior Designer & Draftsperson to join our growing team. If you are a motivated individual who likes to work in a team atmosphere, we look forward to meeting you!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Meet with clients on floor plans, and all other residential home selections
- Create and draft preliminary space plans, into permit drawings and construction sets
- Manage and update project files on Monday Project Management Software
- Create base 3D models
- Assemble mood boards
- Work within developer guidelines, and Manitoba building codes
- Product specifications
- Source material samples
- Be a team leader- assign tasks, review floor plans and renderings with other designers, give constructive criticism
- Run social media accounts and website design- produce unique and creative posts, keep up with marketing materials for website
- Stage Show Homes
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3 years or more experience in new home residential construction
- Degree or Diploma in Drafting and Interior Design
- Proficiency in design software’s: AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Lumion, and Enscape.
- Must be able to plot homes on siteplans, draw grades, elevations and layout.
- Structural drawings to be able to send for permits
- Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication
- Experience staging or decorating homes
- Provide solutions to design problems, and present design alternatives
- Excellent time management skills
- Be able to take conceptual drawings to structural drawings
- have knowledge on Manitoba building codes & new home construction
- Experience working with grades
- Must have structural experience
- Analyze and review design requirements of specific developments
- Drivers license

Pay: $34,676.56-$73,885.66 per year
