Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manual Osteopathic Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver hands-on osteopathic treatments aimed at improving patient mobility, alleviating pain, and promoting overall wellness. Duties
- Perform manual osteopathic assessments and treatments tailored to each patient's condition and health goals
- Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating osteopathic techniques and other supportive therapies
- Maintain detailed case management records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Educate patients on self-care strategies, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as nurses, physiotherapists, and medical professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting patient interactions and treatment plans
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently using Microsoft Outlook and other scheduling tools
Requirements
- Certified Manual Osteopathic Practitioner with valid licensing or registration as required by local regulations
- Proven experience in patient care within clinical settings
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- French speaking an asset
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize treatments efficiently while maintaining high-quality care
