We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic culinary team, ensuring high-quality meal service and customer satisfaction. Sam
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support the team during busy service periods to ensure efficient meal delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to uphold high standards of food quality and safety
Requirements
- Available to work on Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Statutory Holidays
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- A positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
