Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and related trades, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, including new construction, restoration, and renovation, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. The Concrete Laborer will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and durability of our finished projects through precise craftsmanship and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and pouring to ensure smooth application and adherence to project specifications
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials according to schematics and blueprints
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely for various tasks such as cutting, shaping, and lifting materials
- Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project requirements accurately
- Perform masonry work, including caulking, flooring installation, and restoration tasks as needed
- Conduct demolition or removal of old structures during renovation projects
- Support carpentry tasks related to concrete forms and structural elements
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents on-site
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete forming, finishing, or related construction trades
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with heavy equipment operation are highly desirable
- Skills in rebar installation, masonry, carpentry, welding, and flooring installation are preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately
- Knowledge of restoration and renovation techniques beneficial for diverse project types
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting required for demanding physical tasks
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods
- Prior experience with concrete finishing or related skills such as caulking or flooring installation is advantageous

Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
