Shuswap Bird of Prey Services is looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team at the Golden Landfill. This position involves monitoring wildlife activity and applying bird control techniques to help manage nuisance bird populations. Work Schedule: This is a permanent, year-round, part-time position, scheduled for 2 days per week, 6 hours per day There is flexibility in the days of the week and start times, but reliability is essential
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and report on wildlife activity at the landfill site
Implementation of bird control techniques
Maintain accurate daily logs and reports
Work independently and problem-solve in the field

Interested in animal behavior, care, and environmental stewardship
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset)
Valid BC Driver’s License
Experience in wildlife monitoring, animal care, or outdoor work is considered an asset
