Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape construction, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role involves supervising crew members, coordinating tasks, and ensuring the proper care of gardens and landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of landscape workers in various installation tasks.
- Oversee landscape construction activities including hardscaping, softscaping, carpentry.
- Ensure the proper installation of landscaping, followign detailed plan provided.
- Train team members on best practices for landscape care and equipment usage.
- Manage daily operations on-site to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; report any issues to management.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Use "Synced up" app to adjust materials to actuals, log time sheets and do your best to keep project under hours for project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape construction or a related field is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant care, and garden design principles.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
