To offer a hospitable welcome to all residents and guests and provide timely and professional service of food and beverage items in accordance with the Standard and Procedure Manuel.
Main Duties
- To welcome all residents and guests greeting with a professional and courteous manner.
- To be informed about the daily specials and have full knowledge of the ingredients they contain.
- To ensure correct ordering of items through the kitchen and ensure correct billing of guest meals.
- To follow opening and closing duties as set out by the individual property.
- To maintain the standards set down in the Standards & Procedure Manual and ensuring total resident care in line with the property and company policy.
- To be a focused team member on achievement in service.
- To ensure prompt clearing and resetting of tables in order to maximize labor and minimize turnover time between the two seatings.
- To be aware of ingredients used in daily specials and on the a la carte menu to ensure residents with dietary concerns have full knowledge of what they are ordering. Know resident allergies and dietary medical conditions.
- To assist in taking resident attendance, calling resident if absent for a meal.
- To prepare, deliver trays to residents not coming down to dine.
- To ensure proper billing is carried out for residents guests, tray service etc
- To follow opening and closing duties achieving standards required by company policy.
- To minimize breakage by neat and safe stacking of items at the dishwashing area.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless medically exempt.
