POSITION SUMMARY:
The duties and responsibilities of the position include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the scale house. This position is responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. The most common aspects of this position include but not limited to receiving trucks and entering data into the AS400 system, forwarding appropriate information to necessary departments, entering sortations for trucks bringing scrap to the facility, and act as a backup for the scale operator. The Scale House Operator relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and a degree of working effectively by themselves and with the rest of the team is required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience in manufacturing and/or scrap yard preferred.
Must be bilingual in English/Spanish
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Attention to detail. Ability to function well independently.
