We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and personable Full-Time Retail Store Manager to join our busy luxury flower shop in Red Deer for a minimum 18-month maternity leave coverage position.
This role is ideal for a high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys leading a team, and is passionate about customer service and sales excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily retail store operations
- Manage, support, and delegate tasks to staff
- Drive sales performance through goal setting and sales targeting
- Provide exceptional customer service and retail sales support
- Maintain store presentation and organization
- Learn and develop knowledge of flowers, plants, and related products
Qualifications:
- Previous retail management experience required
- Strong sales experience required
- Floral industry experience is an asset, but not necessary
- Willingness to learn about flowers and plants is essential
- Energetic, personable, and highly motivated
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the workday
- Must be able to commute locally
Compensation:
- Hourly wage based on experience
