The Role
We're hiring Team Leads for our Maintenance Division. You'll run a crew of 2-3, own a route of residential properties, and be responsible for schedule execution, service quality, equipment care, and crew development. You're the person who makes sure the day runs smoothly, the work is done right, and your crew is growing.
This is a seasonal position running from February through mid-December.
What You'll Do
- Run a crew of 2-3 people day-to-day, assign tasks, manage pace, ensure quality
- Own a specific route of residential maintenance clients and complete the daily schedule on time
- Serve as the first point of contact for client questions or concerns on your route
- Train and develop Crew Members and Senior Crew Members through hands-on coaching
- Accurately complete daily reports, time sheets, and material usage tracking
- Manage equipment assigned to your crew, maintenance, storage, and damage reporting
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site and redirect service scope questions appropriately
- Provide input on crew composition and scheduling to Field Managers
What We're Looking For
- 1-2+ years of professional landscaping experience with prior crew leadership
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (required)
- Proven ability to manage a crew's time and complete a daily schedule independently
- Strong plant knowledge, you understand seasonal care timing and can make pruning decisions
- Professional client communication skills, you can handle on-site interactions with confidence
- Reliable, organized, and accountable, your crew looks to you to set the standard
- First Aid certification is an asset (company-funded if not held)
