Job Summary
National sales is a full service distributor to the Hotel/Hospitality trade. We supply Hotels, Work Camps, Condos/Apartment Buildings, Student Residences and various businesses with their everyday needs. We also specialize in renovations and new builds.
This position provides clerical and administrative support, as well as order entry and reception. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Responsibilities Include:
- Order Entry
- Provide support to office management/Executive Assistant Work
- Assist on special projects
- Managing company’s automatic phone system - answering the phone and transferring calls
- Basic phone sales
- Manage/assist walk-in customers
- Assist in all aspects of daily office operations
- Calculate Freight Rates
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications Include:
- Minimum of 2 years office experience
- Expert in Microsoft Office
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent written, oral and typing skills
- Skilled in planning and organizing
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to work independently with a high degree of initiative, discretion and self motivation
- Highly approachable, friendly, and collaborative
- Extremely professional, confident, and has a high level of integrity
- Able to handle rapidly changing priorities and exercise good judgment
- Must have strong time management skills
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- French an asset but not required
