We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massages to clients to help them relax, reduce muscle tension, and alleviate pain. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of medical terminology, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massages
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Provide recommendations for at-home care and stretches to enhance the benefits of the massage
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist 2+ years
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients
- Proficient in various massage techniques and modalities
- Valid Massage Therapist license/certification as well as Professional Liability Insurance
- CPR certification (preferred)
