Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves supporting food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service settings is preferred.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Support kitchen staff with meal assembly and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health regulations
- Handle food safely and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety standards
- Restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation processes
- Experience in guest services, cashiering, or barista work is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service
- Prior hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous
