Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Construction Crew Leader to lead our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in landscape construction and horticulture. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and supervising crew members to deliver exceptional outdoor living spaces for our clients. The Landscape Crew Leader will play a key role in coordinating projects, managing resources, and maintaining safety protocols on job sites.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate landscape construction projects from start to finish.
- Lead a team of 1-3 crew members
- Knowledgeable and companted of the execution of tasks including hardscaping (natural stone and precast), planting, outdoor lighting, grading, and carpentry.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with managers to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Manage equipment, tools, and materials to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor quality control and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Understand landscape drawing/design and grading plans .
- Skilled operator of excavator and skid steer.
- Class AR or DZ drivers license.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape construction.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor environments.
- Prior experience in supervising multiple crew members on diverse landscaping projects is preferred
- Able to coordinate with subcontractors.
