Job Summary:
Cam-Tag Industries Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling aerospace components, ensuring they meet rigorous quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly operations following established procedures and specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment to assemble aerospace components.
- Inspect parts for defects to maintain high-quality standards.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and functionality of components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training preferred).
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a Canadian Controlled Goods Program background check.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in an environment with moderate noise levels, dust, varying temperatures, and exposure to hazardous materials.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
