Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to support our operational needs.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for the delivery of freight and goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as electric pallet jacks.
- Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments before departure.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon delivery completion.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; a standard driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electric pallets jacks would be preferred but training is available.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for verifying shipments and completing paperwork accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks as needed.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
