Baker – Sourdough & Production (Full-Time)

Bartholomew Bakery is a high-volume, quality-driven artisan bakery focused on sourdough, viennoiserie, and seasonal production. We are not a hobby bakery, and we are not a factory. We operate with structure, standards, and discipline.
We are currently looking for strong, reliable bakers who want to grow inside a demanding but supportive environment.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Is solid in the fundamentals
- Can handle pace and repetition
- Wants to improve through clear systems and coaching
- Takes pride in consistency and execution
What You’ll Be Doing
- Baking sourdough bread and focaccia
- Mixing and scaling doughs
- Preparing pie and pastry mise en place
- Executing daily production lists accurately and on time
- Working cleanly, efficiently, and with intention
- Following established recipes and SOPs precisely
What We’re Looking For
- Previous professional baking experience (1+ years preferred)
- Comfortable working early mornings and on your feet
- Strong sense of urgency and time awareness
- Able to take feedback and apply it immediately
- Organized, focused, and dependable
- Team-oriented — no egos, no drama
What This Job Is NOT
- Not a slow or casual environment
- Not a place to “figure it out as you go”
- Not suitable for someone who needs constant supervision
