About Us
RAD Olive Hospitality Group has been selected to lead the food and beverage operations at the Saskatoon Sports Centre and Henk Ruys Soccer Centre. We are building a hospitality-focused operation that will deliver exceptional food, service, and guest experiences to athletes, families, tournament guests, and the community.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager to help launch and lead this exciting new venture.
Position Summary
The Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager will oversee all back-of-house operations across two busy sports facilities, including concessions, lounges, catering, and special events. This individual will play a key leadership role in menu development, team building, food quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all kitchen operations across multiple facilities.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop kitchen team members.
Create and execute menus for concessions, lounges, catering, and special events.
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
Manage food, labor, and inventory costs to achieve budget targets.
Develop production systems and standard operating procedures.
Maintain all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Manage purchasing, receiving, inventory, and supplier relationships.
Collaborate with ownership to develop seasonal features and promotional menus.
Assist with tournament, banquet, and event planning and execution.
Qualifications
Red Seal certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience.
Experience leading high-volume kitchens.
Strong understanding of food cost controls, labor management, and inventory systems.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Catering and banquet experience considered a strong asset.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
