Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction and carpentry, demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site. The Carpenter/Laborer will be involved in a variety of tasks including framing, trim work, and restoration projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Execute carpentry tasks including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry; restoration industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to carpentry.
- Knowledge of additional skills such as roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, caulking, plastering, rebar installation, fabrication, CNC operation, assembly, and construction painting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
