Five Nineteen Productions is hiring a reliable, hands-on team member to help deliver and operate our mobile escape room attractions at festivals, fairs, corporate events, schools, camps, and community events across Southern Ontario.
This is a part-time seasonal position with hours based on our event schedule. Most work takes place during the spring, summer, and fall, including weekends, evenings, and occasional weekdays.
What You’ll Do
- Drive company vehicles and tow enclosed attraction trailers to event locations
- Set up and tear down mobile escape rooms and supporting equipment
- Operate attractions during events and provide a positive guest experience
- Explain rules and instructions to participants
- Monitor guest flow and keep attractions running on schedule
- Complete equipment checks before and after events
- Load, unload, organize, and secure equipment for transportation
- Perform basic troubleshooting when an attraction or piece of equipment is not working correctly
- Follow event plans, operating procedures, and safety requirements
- Represent Five Nineteen Productions professionally when working with clients, event organizers, and guests
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience driving while towing trailers
- A valid Ontario driver’s licence
- A safe and responsible driving record
- Confidence backing up, parking, connecting, and disconnecting trailers
- Reliable transportation to our operating location in Brantford
- Availability for weekends, evenings, and variable event schedules
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Friendly and professional when interacting with guests and clients
- Able to follow checklists and detailed operating instructions
- Comfortable using basic tools and solving simple equipment problems
Physical Requirements
This is an active position. Team members must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Lift and move equipment weighing approximately 40 lb
- Bend, crouch, climb steps, and work inside trailers
- Assist with loading, unloading, setup, and teardown
Position Details
- Position: Part-Time Seasonal
- Season: Approximately April to October
- Hours: Variable and based on event bookings
- Pay: $20
- Location: Based out of Brantford, with travel throughout Southern Ontario
- Vehicle: Company vehicle provided for event transportation
Some shifts may be long and may include travel time, setup, event operation, and teardown. Applicants should be comfortable with a schedule that changes from week to week.
