We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a well-established and growing brokerage team in Calgary. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated insurance professional who thrives in a client-focused environment and enjoys managing and growing a book of business.
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing an existing portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and new business development. You will provide expert advice, ensure appropriate coverage solutions, and deliver exceptional client service.
Engage with clients (both verbally and electronically) to assess needs and provide tailored coverage recommendations
Manage and service an existing book of personal lines business
Handle renewals, remarketing, policy changes, and coverage reviews
Cross-sell and identify new business opportunities
Provide support to VIP clients
Respond to client and insurer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate documentation and records in the brokerage management system
Deliver consistent, high-level customer service
Level 2 Insurance License (Alberta)
Minimum 2 years of Personal Lines experience
Experience with Auto, Home, Boat, Recreational, and Umbrella policies
Strong understanding of coverage placement and remarketing
RIBO license (or willingness to obtain)
CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
Strong business acumen and professional presence
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applied Epic
Strong attendance record and reliability
