The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time Physical Health Education and CTS/CTF Teacher at Red Earth Creek School. This position is to commence on August 27,2026.
Red Earth Creek School is situated in the hamlet of Red Earth Creek, located about 162 kms from Peace River. This school services students in grade K-12 and supports a commitment to academics and various extra-curricular programs. Red Earth Creek school borders Loon Lake First Nations. This is a small northern community that provides ease of access to outdoor recreational activities.
This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is secured.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in teaching in a multi grade environment from grades 1-12

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents

Ability to contribute to a positive, safe and caring learning environment

An understanding of rural community and culture
Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Annual Salary Range: $ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
