Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate barback to join our team at a vibrant Coastal Mediterranean restaurant in Toronto. As a barback at Abrielle, you are responsible for supporting the front of house team in all areas of the bar.

General Manager & Assistant General Manager
Areas of Responsibility
- Support the bar team to exceed guest expectations.
- Ensure that bar is fully stocked at all times.
- Assist with polishing glassware & cutlery, as necessary
- Execute coffee service from the Cafe Station.
- Ensure bar area remains clean and organized
- Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and fully
- Re-stock the bar, as necessary.
- All other duties, as assigned by the Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
- Positive and resilient attitude
- At least 1 year Server Assistant, Barista and/or customer service experience an asset
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Smart Serve Certification a requirement
- A Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an asset
