Inner Growth Counselling & Psychotherapy is hiring! We are a team of modern & relatable psychotherapists that support children, teens, adults, couples and families in Barrie and virtually across Ontario. We are looking to add a dedicated Psychotherapist who is eager to learn and grow with us to work IN-PERSON part-time with COUPLES (and individuals). New grads are welcome to apply with relevant experience counselling couples; NO students (unless you are pre-applying for a given start date).
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Counselling Psychology
- Member in good standing with CRPO (will consider qualifying applicants)
- Proof of PLI
- Ability to work in-person 2-3 days per week from our Barrie office; as well as ability to see clients virtually for a total up to 12-15 clients per week
- Availability for evenings and/or weekends is required
- Must live within 30min of Barrie for reliable commute to office
- Training to work with couples (eg Gottman, EFT) & 1yr experience with couples therapy
Expectations:
- Work independently in-person at the office and/or remotely
- Maintenance of own client files and required documentation
- Management of schedule, client payment and collecting fees for services
- Work with couples clients, in addition to individuals
- Ability to work with kids 6+ & families is considered an asset
- Experience working with ADHD, OCD, ASD, PTSD, BPD, narcissistic abuse, BIPOC & LGBTQ+ communities is an asset

Current room openings:
#1) In-person shifts: Sunday 10-3pm (4 clients), Monday 9-2pm (4 clients) & Thursday 2:30-7pm (4 clients) *You must be able to work all of these in-person shifts + 1 virtual shift of your choosing for ~3 client capacity. Start date: September 2026.
