Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas following food safety guidelines.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
- Assist in food handling procedures to meet health regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving, cashiering, and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining sanitation standards and adhering to health regulations.
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry is a plus but not mandatory.
