What are we looking for?
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid Class G driver's licence
- By-law enforcement education/experience
- OAPSO certification (or willing to obtain)
- 1–2 years municipal enforcement experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Strong public relations skills
- Ability to work independently
- De-escalation training
- Willing to receive rabies vaccination
- Proficient with computers and software
What will you be doing?
- Respond to complaints as assigned
- Inspect properties for compliance
- Issue warnings and citations
- Enforce animal control by-laws
- Care for impounded animals
- Maintain Animal Control facility
- Collect and deposit fines
- Issue parking tickets
- Educate the public on by-laws
- Enforce property standards
- Enforce zoning by-laws
- Attend court and tribunal proceedings
- Maintain detailed enforcement records

WAGE $ 34.47 PER HOUR - 10 HOUR SHIFTS 4 DAYS PER WEEK
