As a Night Auditor, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of service and operational efficiency during the overnight hours, ensuring a smooth experience for our guests and accurate financial records for our hotel.
Night Auditors must have a detail orientated work style, and a positive personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Check-in’s, check-out’s and handling all guest registrations

Making and modifying reservations
-
Hotel Operator and concierge related duties
-
Collect payments, posting charges to guest accounts, cash and debit transactions, direct billing, maintaining a float, cashing out at end of shift,

Knowledge of hotel property and surrounding area
-
Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies and act as necessary.

Serve as the evening steward of the property by monitoring security cameras, hallways, and entranceways to help ensure guest safety and property security.

Assist with set-up of continental breakfast and/or beverage stations, if applicable.

Responsible for running the audit and preparing necessary financial reports

Prepare necessary paperwork for next business day.
Qualifications and Experience:

Previous working experience with Opera computer system preferred
-
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing Sales or a related discipline is a strong asset

Must have Opera operating system knowledge

Previous experience in a customer service position
-
Ability to work with minimal supervision
-
Exceptional computer skills
-
Strong communication skills between guests, management and co-workers
-
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability in multi-tasking, organization, working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, working in fast paced environment with strong attention to details

Exceptional conflict resolution skills in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
