Job Summary
H&O has proudly manufactured precision machined components for over seventy years and we are seeking a trainee to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate should have basic mechanical and electrical skills. You will be given the opportunity to perform equipment and facility maintenance under the direction of a senior technician. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach to maintenance while abiding by strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using our ShopTrakker software
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance-related concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments and contractors to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
Experience
- Prior experience in a maintenance and repair role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Exposure to CNC machines.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Previous forklift and crane training are a plus
