JOB SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and execute all maintenance activities within our operation. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, performing repairs, coordinating preventative maintenance, and supporting production needs. The successful candidate will work independently, manage maintenance priorities, and partner closely with operations to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role does not include direct supervisory responsibility for maintenance staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and perform all maintenance activities for production equipment, building systems, and related infrastructure.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including PLC-related issues where applicable.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment such as conveyors, compressors, extruders, and other machinery critical to operations.
Develop, schedule, and carry out preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, determine root causes, and implement safe, effective repairs.
Partner with production and management to identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and overall operational efficiency.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety standards, company policies, and good housekeeping practices.
Monitor the condition of equipment and facility systems, and communicate maintenance priorities, risks, and recommendations to management.
Support equipment installations, setup changes, production changeovers, and facility improvement projects as required.
Coordinate external contractors and service providers when specialized repairs or projects are required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, parts usage, and equipment modifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Red Seal Millwright Certification or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and related maintenance practices.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute preventative maintenance and repair work independently.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to maintain maintenance records and documentation.
Ability to work safely and independently while coordinating with operations, management, and external service providers.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks such as climbing, squatting, bending, and working in an industrial environment.

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
